The WHWTCA thanks everyone who attended the Roving Specialty at Purina Farms. We hope you enjoyed everything that was offered and went home with a ribbon or two!

Huge thanks to the Roving Committee who worked hard to make sure the Roving was held after the loss of Tracy Pancost, who served as Roving chair for many years. The tornado that struck Purina Farms certainly added a degree of difficulty nobody could have predicted. A huge shout out to the staffs at both Purina Farms and Holiday Inn Six Flags, whose helpfulness and friendliness was much appreciated. Hopefully you had a chance to reconnect with old friends and make some new friends too! Joan Giancola knocked it out of the park with the Welcome Reception at the Holiday Inn. It gave everyone a chance to mingle and munch. Much appreciation to Anne Sanders and Vanessa Skou for their outstanding Breeders Education Seminar on topline, neck and tail. It was extremely informative. Thanks to Carol Walker, Shelley Marvin and Lucy Shinkle for offering the Intro to Earthdog Workshop. Hopefully we helped a few Westies gain the confidence they need to go on to compete. Thanks to Sil Sanders for remotely processing results for the Most Versatile Westie in Roving Specialty award.

Thank you to everyone who attended the Roving Specialty in Louisville, Kentucky and helping to make it a huge success. We had an outstanding turnout and the quality of the Westies exhibited was excellent.

We hope you all enjoyed the seminar presented by Anne Sanders, Lisa Pacheco and Vanessa Skou on the Westie Head. The seminar was well attended and was live streamed on Facebook so those not in attendance could participate.

Our members and their dogs had fun playing Barnhunt, FastCAT, CAT and Obedience, as well. Thank you to the Roving committee for putting the Roving specialty together.
