Dates and Judges for Regional and
National Westie Specialty Shows
At least 16 regional West Highland White Terrier clubs hold a regional specialty show, usually in conjunction with an all-breed club dog show. These are held around the country from March until November each year. In addition, the national club, the West Highland White Terrier Club of America, holds two shows each year: a Roving Specialty, which travels around the country and is generally hosted by one of the regional Westie clubs, and the National Specialty, held every year in conjunction with the Montgomery County Kennel Club show, usually on the first Sunday in October.
Starting in 2005, the venue has been changed for the Montgomery show, and it will be held at:

The Montgomery County Kennel Club show is the largest all-terrier show in the U.S., with over 2,000 terriers competing. The day before the Montgomery show, the WHWTCA holds a puppy sweepstakes and an obedience trial.
