ADDITIONAL VERSATILE DOG RULES:
* A Championship, Earthdog title, or D-level accomplishment is required for all awards.
* Only AKC titles qualify except AWTA's Certificate of Gameness (CG) earned before 1/1/99.
* When Terrier Type was published (up until about 2001), the KSTTW is the Knight System Top Ten Westie Dogs or Bitches, the TTTTW is the Terrier Type Top Ten Westies (inter-sex), and the TTTTT is the Terrier Type Top Ten All Terriers Dogs or Bitches. They are final year statistics as published annually by Terrier Type. Note the Knight System counts Westies defeated by winning BOB and the Terrier Type system counts terriers defeated by group placements.
* After 2002, the nearly equivalent AKC TopDog web report is used for level conformation level B, C, and D. For the AKC reports, see www.akc.org/store/reports/topdogs/index.cfm (you need to log into the AKC store before this link will actually get you there).
Level B is top 10 dog or top 10 bitch in the calendar year "AKC TopDog By Breeds using Breed totals" report.
Level C is Top Ten Westies (inter-sex) in the calendar year "AKC TopDogs By Breed Using All-Breed Totals".
Level D is Top Ten All Terriers Dogs or Bitches in the calendar year "AKC TopDog By Group Using All-Breed Total".
* The D-level Earthdog is 10 extra SE legs and 10 extra ME legs after earning the ME.
A dog who achieves these requirements while one or more of his owners were not members needs to earn at least one further title while all his co-owners are members.
Members must provide photocopy documentation for AWTA titles. Members must supply in writing the year that their Westie made Knight System or Terrier Type Top-Ten. Members must supply a detailed list of the 10 SE + 10 ME Earthdog legs showing test name and date.
Members should also notify the chairperson of the performance committee, in writing, when their dogs earn one of these awards to be sure that the Club’s database is up to date. Send this to
